Rivian R1 Receives RivianOS 2 Upgrade





Rivian has initiated the rollout of its advanced RivianOS 2 infotainment system to its R1S SUV and R1T pickup truck models. This update, delivered wirelessly, brings the user experience of the recently introduced R2 model to older vehicles. Owners can expect a suite of new features including dynamic control layouts, refined search functionalities for vehicle settings, and real-time navigation alerts from Google Maps. This strategic move by Rivian aims to standardize the software experience across its product line, ensuring that even existing customers benefit from the latest technological advancements.
The core of this enhancement lies in the new user interface, RivianOS 2, which was first unveiled with the compact R2 electric vehicle.
