Drawing on the successful motocross platform, the VARG SM integrates a Supermoto-specific design, including custom KYB suspension, a forged aluminum subframe, a high-strength steel frame, precision-machined triple clamps, CNC-machined hubs, and advanced Brembo radial brakes. The 48mm front fork offers 290mm of adjustable travel, complemented by a rear shock with 303mm of travel, ensuring superior handling and feel for various riding conditions. A newly developed triple clamp enhances steering precision and front-end feedback, crucial for tight turns and urban navigation. Equipped with high-grip Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tires, alongside options from Dunlop, Michelin, or Anlas, the VARG SM is perfectly suited for aggressive riding on winding roads or technical cityscapes.

The VARG SM is powered by a 7.2 kWh structural honeycomb magnesium battery, adapted from the off-road VARG for enhanced urban utility. This configuration provides a practical range of approximately 81 km (50 miles) under WMTC standards, ideal for daily commutes and spirited canyon rides. Recharging is efficient, with the included 3.3 kW portable charger fully replenishing the battery in 1–2 hours from any standard outlet or EV wall plug. The motorcycle's carbon-fiber–sleeved PMAC motor, featuring an integrated inverter, delivers immense torque with smooth power delivery, eliminating the need for gear shifts. Riders can personalize throttle response, regenerative braking, power output, and engine braking through the waterproof, shockproof, and fully connected Android-based "Arkenstone" display, which also offers GPS navigation, over-the-air updates, and live ride data.
