Hyundai Launches Refreshed IONIQ 6 in Turkey, Boasting Enhanced Design and Extended Range

Hyundai has officially introduced the updated IONIQ 6 in Turkey, featuring significant enhancements to its design, technological capabilities, and driving autonomy. Unveiled previously at the Seoul Mobility Show, this electric sedan now presents a more sophisticated and forward-looking aesthetic, making it an attractive option in the electric vehicle market.
The refreshed IONIQ 6 sports a more aerodynamic profile with a drag coefficient of 0.21, contributing to an extended driving range. Its exterior boasts refined curves, new front and rear bumper designs, and slim daytime running lights. The rear is accentuated by wing-shaped chrome detailing and an extended ducktail, which replaces the traditional spoiler to further optimize aerodynamics. Inside, the cabin has been meticulously redesigned, featuring a two-tone leather steering wheel, digital side mirrors, and a 'bridge-type' center console that includes wireless phone charging and physical controls. The infotainment system is a highlight, with dual 12.3-inch digital screens in a panoramic curved display, offering wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.
The updated IONIQ 6 is available in Turkey in Advance and Progressive trims, with battery options of 63 kWh and 84 kWh, providing WLTP ranges of up to 323 miles (521 km) and 422 miles (680 km) respectively. Its advanced 800-volt electrical architecture allows for incredibly fast charging, achieving an 80% charge from 10% in approximately 18 minutes using a 350 kW DC fast charger. Additional innovations include the Smart Regenerative System 3.0, Hyundai Digital Key 2.0, V2L functionality, and Hyundai SmartSense 1. The starting price for the new IONIQ 6 in Turkey is 2,482,000 TRY (approximately $52,100). While the updated model is reaching European markets, including Germany where prices start from 45,750 euros (about $52,700), the standard IONIQ 6 has been discontinued for the US market. However, the high-performance IONIQ 6 N is still expected to launch in the US by late 2026.
The introduction of the enhanced IONIQ 6 underscores Hyundai's ongoing dedication to innovation and sustainability within the automotive sector. This vehicle embodies a blend of cutting-edge technology, elegant design, and environmental consciousness, setting a new benchmark for electric sedans and reinforcing the global shift towards more sustainable transportation solutions. By consistently pushing the boundaries of electric vehicle capabilities, Hyundai contributes significantly to a cleaner, more efficient future, inspiring confidence in the evolution of personal mobility.
