Juiced Unveils New Dual-Battery Scrambler Hardtail E-Bike with Extended Range

Juiced Bikes has officially released an enhanced iteration of its Scrambler Hardtail e-bike, now featuring a dual-battery system that boasts an impressive maximum range of 120 miles (200 km). This development follows earlier hints from the company about an upcoming extended-range model. The new offering retains the distinctive moped-inspired aesthetic that has solidified the Scrambler's position as a flagship product and was instrumental in the brand's relaunch.
This upgraded configuration effectively amplifies the features already favored by users of the 52V bike. By integrating a second battery beneath the frame, the total capacity reaches 38.4 Ah, enabling the remarkable 120-mile range under optimal riding conditions. This significant increase in battery life aims to alleviate range concerns for daily commuters, weekend adventurers, and anyone who appreciates leisurely rides. While few riders may actually cover 120 miles in a single trip, the primary benefit lies in the newfound freedom from battery anxiety, allowing for more relaxed and extensive journeys. Even for those who prefer higher power modes over maximizing range, the combined 1,996 Wh capacity ensures ample power for extended throttle-assisted riding. The e-bike continues to utilize the same 1,764W peak rear hub motor as the standard Hardtail Scrambler, adhering to Class 2 or Class 3 regulations, meaning the focus is on increased ride time rather than enhanced speed.
Currently, Juiced is offering the dual-battery Hardtail Scrambler at a special price of $1,999, which represents a $245 markdown from its original retail price. This offer also includes a selection of complimentary accessories, such as fenders, a handlebar bag, a bar pad, a headplate, a personalized nameplate, and various stickers. Previous assessments of the new Scrambler series have highlighted its successful fusion of vintage minibike aesthetics with practical daily performance. The Hardtail model, by foregoing rear suspension for a lighter and simpler frame, still delivers a comfortable ride over uneven surfaces thanks to its substantial 20x4-inch tires. Its design, inherited from the full-suspension variant, ensures a well-engineered and powerful e-bike experience, distinguishing it from less integrated alternatives.
For cyclists who frequently cover long distances or simply prefer less frequent charging, the dual-battery Scrambler presents a highly attractive option. Priced under $2,000, it stands out among long-range e-bikes, offering a unique motor-inspired style that has become synonymous with the Juiced brand. This innovation not only enhances the user experience but also reinforces Juiced Bikes' commitment to delivering high-performance, stylish, and practical electric bicycles.
