This latest iteration of the electric hatchback, which has been a cornerstone of Volkswagen's EV offerings since its initial launch in 2019, promises a revolutionary experience for drivers. Prices for the ID.3 Neo commence at £33,080, equivalent to approximately $45,000, presenting a compelling option in the electric car market.
The ID.3 Neo distinguishes itself with an entirely new design philosophy, both inside and out. It incorporates an extended driving range, allowing up to 390 miles on a single charge, and is equipped with Volkswagen's most recent advancements in technology and software. This model also signifies a shift in Volkswagen's naming conventions, moving away from simple numerical designations like ID.3, ID.4, and ID.5, to a more distinct identifier. Comparatively, the ID.3 Neo is slightly more expensive than the similarly sized BYD Dolphin, which starts at £30,230 in the UK. In Germany, the ID.3 Neo Trend, equipped with the standard 50 kWh battery, was available for pre-order in April, with prices starting from €33,995, or roughly $39,000.
