The state plans to develop intensive home and community-based services, including individual and family therapy, to maximize the child’s ability to live and participate in the community. Additionally, the state will enhance its 24/7 mobile crisis intervention and stabilization services. Intensive care coordination will ensure medically necessary Medicaid services are appropriately delivered. State officials also plan to utilize additional Medicaid services to support children with serious emotional disturbances, helping them remain in their homes and communities.
