Tesla, for instance, has long utilized a similar system for its Superchargers, where payments for non-Tesla vehicles are managed via their app, and Tesla vehicles benefit directly from “Plug & Charge.”

The EX60 will feature an NACS port, enabling native compatibility with Tesla Superchargers. However, it's worth noting that even Tesla's V3 stations may not fully utilize the EX60's remarkable 370-kilowatt peak charging capability. A Volvo powertrain engineer, speaking at the EX60's launch, indicated that the vehicle might initially experience a peak charging speed of 120-kW on 400-volt chargers, due to the need for its rear inverter to convert current to 800-volts.
