They even battle it for the best vendor," says Brissa Garcia, a member of the cornfest committee.Furthermore, the festival coincides with the celebration of Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead), and the event will feature activities and decorations to honor the lives of those who have passed. "Nov. 2 is also Dia De Los Muertos, so the event will have activities and decor to celebrate the lives of those no longer with us," Garcia explains.
