Range Rover is expanding its vehicle range with the introduction of the new GT, a grand tourer that marks a significant departure from its established SUV portfolio. Unveiled to much anticipation last month, the GT is positioned as the fifth and newest member of the brand's distinguished lineup, promising a fusion of luxury and advanced technology.

In contrast, the GT is expected to utilize a 100 kWh battery, which, owing to its aerodynamic fastback design, could potentially extend its range to approximately 500 miles (800 km). Production for the Range Rover GT is slated to commence in the first half of 2027 at JLR's Halewood plant in the UK, following the launch of the electric SUV and the more compact Sport model. Positioned strategically below the Velar, the GT is projected to carry a price tag exceeding £75,000 ($100,000) in the UK, with an estimated starting price of around $90,000 in the US, offering an EPA-estimated range of at least 300 miles.
