The Summit Racing Equipment Fling at Norwalk, presented by Total Seal, will occur from August 27th to 31st, 2025. This unique single-entry competition offers participants multiple chances to win significant cash prizes, including an impressive $50,000 on Strange Friday and ATI Performance Products Saturday. Additional opportunities include $30,000 on Function Enterprises Inc. Sunday, a $5,000 shootout courtesy of Coltrin Door & Moulding, and $20,000 during the Advanced Product Design Thursday warm-up. The origins of the Fling Bracket Race Series trace back to a New Year's Eve brainstorming session in 2009 between Kyle Seipel and Peter Biondo. Dissatisfied with the existing race options, they envisioned creating something more engaging for competitors. After four months of planning, their first race took place at Bristol Dragway, despite initial financial setbacks. Positive feedback motivated them to continue, leading to the series' expansion and eventual full-time commitment.

The partnership with Summit Motorsports Park materialized unexpectedly in late 2024 when Bill Bader reached out to Biondo expressing interest in hosting a Fling event. Following a brief but decisive phone call, the agreement was finalized after a two-hour discussion comparing expectations. This collaboration highlights the park’s dedication to bracket racers, offering amenities such as free electric spots for guests.

Racers and fans attending this event can expect a celebration centered around their experiences. Beyond the lucrative prize money, organizers focus on racer appreciation through personalized interactions facilitated by the media team and diva desk. Over 100 racers will be called to the tower to share in a $50,000 prize pool, ensuring that every participant feels valued and celebrated.

Honda's Dean Harrison claimed victory in a shortened Isle of Man TT Superstock race, ending a winless streak that began in 2019. The race was postponed due to weather delays and reduced from three laps to two. Harrison edged out Davey Todd by 11.656 seconds, marking his first TT triumph since the Senior race in 2019 and his debut win in the Superstock category.
