Mountaintop Church, located in Vestavia Hills, has recently unveiled a new 16,000-square-foot children's area to accommodate the growing number of young families and children attending its services. The church, which also attracts members from neighboring areas like Hoover, Pelham, Alabaster, and Mountain Brook, recognized the need for more space to effectively minister to the next generation. With around 300 children participating on typical Sundays, the church needed better facilities to provide quality care and engaging programs. The $8.5 million project includes nine rooms specifically designed for infants and preschoolers, each equipped with bathrooms, along with a spacious lobby. Additionally, outdoor areas have been transformed into welcoming gathering spaces, enhancing the overall experience for visitors and members alike.

Previously, multiple small groups were forced to share cramped quarters, leading to challenges in maintaining focus during activities.
