The community organization SEACUS is hosting a car and motorcycle show at the Graham County Senior Center on June 13, offering a platform for vehicle enthusiasts to showcase their prized possessions. In addition, families can participate in a contest organized by Double R Communications to nominate their dads for an impressive prize bundle worth over $3,000. This initiative aims to celebrate fatherhood while fostering community spirit.
On Friday, June 13, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the Southeastern Arizona Community Unique Services (SEACUS) invites all types of vehicles to take part in its car and motorcycle exhibition held at the Graham County Senior Center located at 822 W. Main St. in Safford. Participation is free, encouraging anyone with an interest in automobiles to join in. SEACUS plays a pivotal role in supporting senior citizens across Graham and Greenlee counties through initiatives like Meals on Wheels, housekeeping services, personal care assistance, and recreational activities at local senior centers.
Beyond the car show, another highlight of the Father's Day festivities is the Best Dad prize package giveaway by Double R Communications. Families are encouraged to submit nominations for their dads before the deadline on Wednesday, June 11.
