Arizona's New Recycling Plant Boosts Rare Earth Supply for Green Tech

Cyclic Materials has officially inaugurated its first industrial-scale plant for recycling rare earth magnets in Mesa. This advanced facility boasts an annual processing capacity of up to 25,000 metric tons of magnet-containing waste products. The Mesa plant introduces Cyclic's innovative MagCycle technology on a commercial scale, yielding a specialized rare earth magnet concentrate known as Mag-Xtract, alongside other metals like copper, aluminum, and steel. Already, over 7,000 metric tons of magnet-rich materials have arrived at the site, with processing activities well underway. Cyclic anticipates its initial commercial deliveries to American clients later this month.
